People always approach me and ask: “how do I build abs fast?” Most of the time,these people tell me they find it difficult to get the most excellent result in such a short time. But you know what? Knowing the most effective guideline for your abs trainingwill make it a piece of cake.

I must admit though, truth about six pack abs: it needs a lot of HARD EFFORT and determination. Yet, it won’t be enough. All your work will be put in vain if you don’t use the proper workout plan. Observing the people who approached me, I realized the similar mistakes they did in the process.

So, to help you avoid making the same mistakes, here are the 3 worst things you should NOT do:

1. Limiting yourself to ONE or TWO meals a day

Like what John Alvino said, you must take in at least 5-6 meals every day for an excellent fat loss program. Consuming a full meal once or twice each day is not the most effective diet to a firm and tighter lower abs.

Building ripped abs fast needs proper nutrition. How would you feel after a stressful day at work? Don’t you want to revive your strength and recharge? The same goes when you’re building muscles. After a strenuous exercise, your muscles crave to regain their strength. If you don’t eat properly, you will risk their health. Later on, this can result to muscle loss and damage. Furthermore, you will also reduce your metabolism tremendously.

The ultimate secret for a successful abs diet is consuming well-balanced foods at the right time. After your exercises, consume foods rich in protein. Plus, avoid unhealthy fats and starchy carbs like junk foods, deep fried meals and baked goods.

2. Thinking that CARDIO ALONE will give you a six pack

CARDIO workouts are HELPFUL. However, it is not enough. To build abs fast, you will have to perform different exercises, not just ONE. Resistance training and weight lifting are some of the most efficient total body routines that will tone your muscles. Performing these routines along with abs-specific routines will make those abs toned fast. One significant reminder though, you should do these drills regularly at least 4 times a week, every other day. For your cardio option, perform them during the days when you’re not performing your usual exercise.

3. Training too hard

Some people could not even take the pain of long exercises. Yet, there are those who think that overworking themselves will get them better results faster. Well, that’s a big misconception. Over-training won’t get you near six pack abs. Why? Because you will risk the chance of injuries along the way, physically and mentally. This will exhaust your muscles, and if worse comes to worst, it can tear them into pieces.

Keep in mind, your goal is to carry out an effective workout. It won’t be effective at all when you don’t do it with accuracy. Over-training won’t produce the best results simply because you won’t be able to do each exercise with perfection.

So why don’t you begin by doing 5 reps of each set of workout then gradually add on to your reps as you improve. This will give your muscles ample recovery time. Plus, it will also condition your muscles for more increased routines in the future.

Don’t commit the same mistakes such as these. Applying the most effective plan will lead you to your fitness dream. Just follow a well-balanced diet, carry out your exercises correctly, and don’t ever believe that ONE routine will build abs fast.
